Hi, I'm Paul. I make photos that feel like memory itself.

For five years I've been quietly building a body of work close to home — weddings in Iowa City, family sessions along the Cedar River, headshots in downtown Coralville, branding for small businesses across the Corridor.

Whatever I'm photographing, I'm drawn to the in-between moments. The breath before the kiss. A toddler running to a parent. The half-second of laughter between two takes. That's the stuff that lasts.

Things people often ask me.

How quickly will we receive our photos?
Family/portrait sessions: 1–2 weeks. Weddings: sneak peek within 7 days, full gallery in 2–4 weeks. Every image is hand-edited — no batch presets — which is why it takes a beat.
Do you travel outside the Iowa City / Cedar Rapids area?
Yes — anywhere in Eastern Iowa with no travel fee, and beyond for a transparent quote. I've shot across the Midwest and happy to fly for destination weddings.
Can I customize a package?
Absolutely. The packages cover most needs, but if you want something different — extra locations, larger family group, multi-day brand work — tell me in your inquiry and I'll build a custom quote.
What happens if it rains?
For outdoor sessions, we'll either reschedule at no cost or work with the weather — some of my favorite photos have been in rain. I bring umbrellas and backup gear.
How do we book?
A signed agreement and a 25% retainer holds your date. Family/portrait sessions can usually be booked 2–4 weeks out; weddings fill 6–12 months in advance.
